The Brute Performance Kit is set forth as a project to enable ad-hoc performances in public spaces. It is most effective at concerts, openings, conferences, and other events that involve large numbers of people. Being fully autonomous it can travel within a crowd of possible strangers. Any two people using it start having a from of interaction that is dictated by the BPK's form factor and audio feedback. The physical interface suggests a spiraling movements. The generated soundscape animates users to move in parallel and spin for dramatic effect.
