Multiple of these light fixtures are attached to a wall. They track the motion of shadows along one axis. As people move by, the slightest change in received light results in a fading glow following their shadows. The firmware is smart enough to adjust to almost any kind of ambient light intensity. The sensitivity is surprisingly high to the effect that the movement of objects in its proximity are seemlessly tracked. The units are self powered and always on. The hardware is designed to be chargeable from any standard USB port.
